The Patron Saint Festivities in honour of the Santísimo Cristo de Medellín are always held on 14th September. They are the main festivities of the town, although in its development it is a festivity of a similar category to the August fair. It is experienced more intensely by the people of Medellín, as it traditionally coincides with the end of the farming season.
