Printing...Festivity in honour of the patron saint of the city, the Virgen de las Cruces. It begins 10 days before the celebration, when the Virgin is taken from the Hermitage to be carried on the shoulders of her parishioners. On 12 October, the Virgin is carried again on the shoulders of her parishioners to her hermitage, located 7 kilometres from the town. Throughout the day, the residents of Don Benito celebrate the festivity of their patron saint in a pilgrimage around her hermitage
